Some of the junior children at Lake Tekapo School, in the South Island of New Zealand, have sent their Flat Stanley’s on an adventure to Indonesia. Their class is learning about different cultures and their Stanleys are going to help out by sharing their experiences in Indonesia and maybe other destinations.

Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand

Ao Nang is a beach town in the region of Krabi, in Southern Thailand.

A lot of tourists visit Ao Nang to go diving and go on tours and visit islands on the Longtail boats.

I meet my brother in Ao Nang and we relaxed and ate lots and lots of yummy Thai food.

Longtail boats anchored off the beach.

Getting a lift in a Song thaew (which means two rows). It's a ute with a canopy and two bench seats in the back.

Top: Laab (spicy pork mince salad)
Bottom left: chicken wing tips (I thought I ordered chicken wings)
Bottom right: Som Tum (spicy green papaya salad)

Fried rice and crab meat stirfry

Som Tum and Thai Green Curry

Banana pancake with honey and coconut ice cream

Flying from Krabi to Bangkok
